KISAE in Special Projects

Although KISAE has a vast product range that covers many markets and customer uses, we occasionally get asked for a customized power electronics product suitable for a specialized application. KISAE’s strong design and engineering capabilities, deep technology savvy, and quick development turnaround times has made us a go-to source when an interested party needs power conversion technology for a special application or market.

KISAE is renowned for its development of special project solutions for unique customer needs and applications. In 2018 for example, KISAE undertook a very special project in the rural electrification field. KISAE designed, engineered and manufactured a “plug and play” energy system to deliver electricity to over 200,000 homes in rural Peru where no utility power existed. The resulting DC PowerBox offers affordable, clean DC power to these people who use the product primarily to run DC lights and DC appliances, or recharge phones and work with a PV solar panel to recharge from the sun.

KISAE’s MPPT DC/AC PowerStation products provide DC and AC power to run lights, TV, computers and small appliances, all with power generated from the sun. The system is comprised of a DC-AC power inverter and an MPPT solar charge controller and they’re installed easily with just a simple connection to a battery bank.
